Fuchsia Voremberg
Travel
Fuchsia came to Maggs in 2012 fresh from her Batchelor's degree at the American Studies department of University of East Anglia. Following an apprenticeship on the front desk, she moved into the Travel department. Her interests reach all corners of the globe, with a particular focus on the Americas, the Polar regions, India, and Indigenous voices.
She is a member of the ABA, and is passionate about promoting and supporting diversity within the antiquarian book trade. One of her proudest achievements is the development, alongside Ed Maggs, of the Maggs Scholarship for the History of the Book master's programme at the nearby Institute of English Studies. In 2022 she joined the Maggs Bros board of directors.
She is often to be found at the Maggs booth during international book fairs, and is always delighted to greet new and old customers alike. Since 2018 she has occasionally appeared as a specialist on the BBC's Antiques Roadshow.
Fuchsia's personal interests include small press print culture, community, and the natural world.
